Question 1: My product specifications do not match your standard machine. Is it possible to build a customized machine for my products?
Answer: Absolutely. In fact, customization is the standard — not the exception.
Every hose clamp machine we build is tailor-made for the customer who orders it. We do not mass-produce generic machines from a catalog and ask customers to adapt their products to fit. Instead, we design and configure each machine around the customer's specific product specifications — including clamp type, size range, band width, material grade, housing geometry, and quality standards.
The process works as follows:
- You share your product specifications, drawings, and — most importantly — physical samples of your hose clamps and raw materials;
- Our engineering team analyzes your samples to understand the exact assembly requirements, material characteristics, and quality parameters;
- We design the machine's tooling, forming dies, feeding systems, and process parameters specifically for your products;
- We use your own samples and materials to test and adjust the machine — verifying that every assembled clamp meets your quality standards before the machine ships.
The result: a machine that is not theoretically capable of producing your products, but proven and validated to produce your products — with your material, to your specifications, at your required quality level.
There is no product specification that is "too different" for us to work with. If you can describe it, draw it, and send us a sample, we can build a machine to assemble it.
Question 2: Can I specify the brand of components used in the machine?
Answer: Yes — your input on component selection is not only welcomed, it is valued.
When we prepare a quotation and draft the purchase contract, we include a detailed list of major component brands for your review and approval. This list covers all critical subsystems of the machine:
Component Category | Examples of Available Brands |
PLC Controller | Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Delta |
Servo Motors & Drives | Yaskawa, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Delta |
Pneumatic Components | SMC, Festo, AirTAC |
Electrical Components | Schneider, ABB, Omron |
Sensors & Vision Systems | Keyence, Cognex, Omron, Basler |
Bearings & Linear Motion | NSK, SKF, THK, HIWIN |
We present this list to you before the contract is finalized — and any suggestion or preference you provide is valuable to us. You may have reasons to prefer specific brands:
- Your maintenance team is already trained on a particular PLC platform;
- Your factory standardizes on a specific pneumatic brand for spare parts interchangeability;
- Your regional service network supports certain brands more readily than others;
- You have budget considerations that favor cost-effective alternatives in certain categories;
- You require specific brands to meet end-customer or industry certification requirements.
Whatever your reasons, we will accommodate your preferences. The component brand list is a collaborative document — drafted by us, reviewed by you, and finalized by mutual agreement before manufacturing begins.
Question 3: Do you accept L/C (Letter of Credit) payment?
Answer: Our standard payment term is 100% T/T (Telegraphic Transfer).
For the majority of our transactions — both domestic and international — we prefer and operate under 100% T/T payment terms. This means:
- A deposit is paid upon order confirmation to initiate manufacturing;
- The balance is paid upon machine completion and successful factory acceptance testing, prior to shipment.
This payment structure is designed to protect both parties:
- For the customer — the balance is not paid until the machine is fully built, tested, and verified to be performing correctly; you have the opportunity to witness testing (in person or via video call) and approve the machine before releasing the final payment;
- For Frand — the deposit secures the order and covers the substantial material and labor costs incurred during the 3–4 month manufacturing period.
Regarding L/C: While our standard practice is T/T, we understand that certain customers — particularly those working with government procurement processes, large institutional buyers, or specific national trade regulations — may require L/C payment terms. We are open to discussing L/C arrangements on a case-by-case basis depending on the order value, the issuing bank, and the specific terms of the letter of credit. If L/C is a requirement for your organization, please raise this during the quotation stage so that we can evaluate and accommodate your needs.
Question 4: How many workers are needed to operate one machine?
Answer: One operator can effectively manage 2 to 3 machines simultaneously.
Our hose clamp assembly machines are designed for minimal operator intervention during normal production. Once the machine is set up, loaded with materials, and running, the operator's role is primarily supervisory:
- Monitoring the machine's operation for any abnormalities;
- Performing routine quality checks on finished products at regular intervals;
- Reloading raw materials (steel coils, component hoppers) when supplies run low;
- Collecting finished products from the output station;
- Responding to any alarm conditions or stoppages.
Because the assembly process is fully automated — from material feeding through finished product output — a single skilled operator can oversee the production of two to three machines running simultaneously. This means:
Scenario | Operators Required | Machines Managed |
Single machine | 1 operator | 1 machine |
Small production line | 1 operator | 2 – 3 machines |
Medium production line | 2 – 3 operators | 5 – 8 machines |
Large production facility | 3 – 5 operators | 10 – 15 machines |
Of course, the exact operator-to-machine ratio depends on factors such as:
- The complexity of the machine and the number of material loading points;
- The frequency of size changeovers (more frequent changeovers require more operator attention);
- The level of in-line inspection automation (machines with integrated CCD inspection and automatic rejection require less manual quality checking);
- The customer's specific quality control protocols and documentation requirements.
During the training program, we teach your operators how to manage multiple machines efficiently — covering material loading optimization, production monitoring techniques, and rapid response procedures for common alarm conditions.
Question 5: How many years of after-sales service do you support?
Answer: Our contractual commitment is 1 year. Our actual commitment is indefinite.
In our formal purchase contract, we specify a 1-year warranty period — during which any manufacturing defects, component failures, or performance issues are addressed at no charge to the customer. This includes:
- Remote troubleshooting and technical guidance;
- Replacement of defective components shipped at our expense;
- On-site technician dispatch if the issue cannot be resolved remotely.
However, our service commitment does not end when the warranty period expires. In practice, we provide after-sales support for the entire operational life of the machine — with no arbitrary cutoff date.
What this means in practice:
Timeframe | Our Support |
Year 1 (warranty period) | Full warranty coverage — all defects, all issues, all resolved at no charge |
Years 2 – 5 | Continued technical support — remote troubleshooting, spare parts supply, and on-site service available at cost (parts and labor charged at reasonable rates, not inflated) |
Years 5 – 10+ | Ongoing support — we maintain records of every machine we have built and continue to provide technical guidance, spare parts, and service for machines that are a decade or more in service |
Beyond 10 years | We still answer the phone — if you have a question about a machine we built ten or fifteen years ago, we will help you solve it |
Our philosophy is simple: if we built it, we stand behind it — for as long as it runs.
We maintain comprehensive records of every machine we have ever manufactured — including design drawings, component specifications, electrical schematics, and software versions. This means that even for machines built many years ago, we can identify the exact components used, source replacement parts, and provide accurate technical guidance.Any questions or issues — today, next year, or ten years from now — just let us know. We will be here.
